Baptisms & Baptism Class

THE ACT OF BAPTISM IS FUNDAMENTALLY ABOUT IDENTIFYING WITH JESUS CHRIST.

When you make the decision to be baptized, you are walking in obedience to Christ’s command (Matthew 28:19-20), and are demonstrating your belief in a tangible way.

**The baptism class will be held on Sunday January 24, between services from 10:00am - 10:30am. Once you attend this class, you can be added to the baptism list for our upcoming Baptism on Sunday January 31 at either 8:30am or 10:30am.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Romans saying, “Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” – Romans 6:3,4 ESV

Belief and baptism ought to go hand-in-hand. Believers in the New Testament were always baptized the same day they put their trust in Christ! As soon as a person places faith in Jesus Christ, that person is encouraged to be baptized.

If you have put your faith in Christ but have never been baptized, then we invite you to take that step of obedience and publicly proclaim what the Lord has done in your life!

While we believe that kids can understand the essentials of salvation and put their faith in Jesus, we don’t baptize kids below 10 years of age and encourage them to wait to make this important decision.
